Six flags is where the action is at folks and just like some folks vote at home it was decided that the 'go early and go often' approach was about right. So the first trip of the summer was made on opening weekend. Season tickets were purchased at 75 'bucks a pop' providing unlimited access to both the main park and the adjoining water park for the whole season. Jude says it's the best value since the Mace on Shaws Rd ran their '3 selection boxes for a fiver' deal at Christmas time.
Here it's a sign of the times indeed that you cannot smoke in an open air theme park unless in a designated smoking area. Here Marguerite blends in well with the sign and the plants. Spooky!
Here's Sylvester the cat with the two nicest chicks in the park. Sylvester is dancing with Marguerite and Tweety pie of course. Sylvester and Tweety Pie were... lets just say....a little dazzled by Marguerite's Belfast style 'shelf stacking' dance moves. Marguerite said she didn't care if Sylvester and Tweety Pie 'got it' or not, as long as she along with her school mates Sinead, Charlene D, Franchesca, Brenda, Kerry and Marie, do.
Here Jude and Marguerite are soaked after their 214th run on a brill water ride.
This is one of the class roller coasters that Six Flags has to offer. Do you reckon Aideen and Megan will love this one?
Spot the 3 super heroes above. Which one do you think has the most super powers? Wha?
Here we are at the end of our day. Having fun, that's what this trip is all about folks and it's full steam ahead as summer has finally arrived.
