5K Charity Run

Marguerite, Victoria and Jude have been keeping themselves fit lately. Jude has been keeping up his usual running around the Back Bay Fens park in Boston while Marguerite and Victoria have been slugging away in the gym. So there's no better way to test the auld fitness levels than signing up to do a 5K charity run. Here are Marguerite and Jude fully geared up. Lovely. Oh, and check out the auld ambulance there in case anyone cops an unfortunate one.




Vicky has arrived and the tension is building before the start of the big run. This was an early start on a Saturday morning and both Vicky and Marguerite just wouldn't be the fondest of getting up early like, especially not on a Saturday, are ye mad?








Marguerite does her final warm up and looking cool she is.








This is one of those 'still' action shots folks. The stop watches are set.....3.....2....1....












.....go. And they're off running like folk possessed! Marguerite and Victoria try their damdest to break all land speed records as they set of at a breakneck speed. Meanwhile Jude is telling them, 'ye can't laugh and run at the same time girls, that's not how it works'. 'Aye dead on Jude, wind yer neck in wee lad', mumbled Marguerite and Victoria.






After 1k and while struggling to 'keep down' the pace (as opposed to 'keep up' the pace) Jude throws his dummy out of the pram and bids farewell to the giggling girls. 'I'll see ye at the finish line sometime tomorrow then', said Jude as he went solo.





'Hehehehehehe.......he's a total melter, always competing, trying to win, let him go on......sure we're having a good laugh here anyway'. What's with the dude in the blue breeks, wha? Marguerite and Victoria find him so amusing they just burst out laughing within earshot of him.





'Those pair are total melters, they take nothing serious, I shoulda left them at home, sure this is only a wee stroll in the park, you'd think it was the olympics the way they're getting on', mumbles Jude to himself.








Finally after 3 days, 8 hours and 47 minutes Marguerite and Victoria arrive at the finish line.....and amazingly they are puffed out!!!!!











Marguerite liked thon ballon thingy there folks. She had about 8 pics taken with it, she just fell in love with it. 'Please take a pic of me at the ballons Jude', she keep saying. Melter!!!!





Later in the evening and Jude and Marguerite have taken their weary limbs out for a bit of a dander and a bite of grub. Sure didn't they deserve it after the efforts of that morning!!!
