Much to everyone's surprise and delight the weather in Ireland during the month of July was great, actually it was better than great it was perfect. So after touring around Ireland for a few weekends Marguerite, Ben and Jude decided to make the most of the nice weather and of the novelty of having a garden again. Here is Ben in his new pool thingymabobber.
These days Ben is learning to eat all on his own .....

...... and what a wonderful job he is doing too. Here he is with more food on him than in him! Nice and messy does it.

A quick bath to get all that Weetabix washed off ......

..... before heading out to the garden in his wee car yoke. This wee thing is great as it allows Ben to scoot about and explore.

However Ben is learning quick and he is literally in the middle of everything now. Here he is hoking through his wee 'Ben' bag to see if he can find some goodies.

And here he is checking out the washing machine. It's called exploring, boldly going where others have gone before ....... in the hope of finding treasure .....

....... like a packet of cling wrap perhaps!

Auntie Emma and Ben are best buddies. Here they are having fun in Emma's car. Soon the excitement would go off the scale as Ben was presented with his very first .......

.......... swimming pool. Jude and Marguerite saw that he was loving this in his wee school so they scooped one for him to play in in the garden. Here is Emma setting him in it for the first time.

'Quack, quack, quack'.

Ben totally loves his wee pool and had soooo much fun today that ......

........... he flaked out just as soon as he got out and got dressed.

Being no dozzers Marguerite and Jude also quickly realised that the auld pool could easily transform into a ball pit. So off Jude scooted and bagged a load of balls and chucked them into the pool.

Of course Ben loves this too.

So as often as possible Marguerite and Jude would Ben out in the fresh air playing in the garden. So Ben needs watching 24/7 nowadays because he is becoming so much more active. One of his favourite things to do is to chuck a ball away ............

.......... and then go retrieve it ......

.............. and laughing his head off.

While some times he just likes to lay about and roll about in the balls.

Here is Ben looking all cool and all in his Manchester United top that Jude's friend Tom bought him.

His latest gift from his parents was this cool football, he loves that. It's nearly the same size as him but Ben doesn't care.

Having spent the early months of Ben's life trekking to swing parks all around Brookline to get Ben out and about it's great to have this garden space back. Obviously it's great for Ben.
Here he is having a wee kip.

And here he is taking it easy!
