Ben playing golf

Here is Ben marching onto Colin Valley golf course ........ well actually it's the wee practice area up behind the first tee.  He's taken a real shine to golf over the summer.











Anyway Marguerite and Jude had bought Ben this cool set of golf clubs for his birthday ........ real clubs now not toy things.  They were purchased in June and were being held in a cupboard until his birthday in October.  Then one night Marguerite was out with her friends Ben and Jude got chatting about golf and next thing the clubs were out!!







Well Ben took to it like a duck to water ....... sure here he is sinking this wee put with his driver!

Now Ben is only two but he will spend an hour and a half here no bother ...... just hitting balls back and forward.  Jude doesn't mind at all as he gets to play a bit too.

Ask Ben who his favourite golfer is and he replies, 'McIl-rory'.













Ben loves playing out of the wee bunker area.  He's fond of the auld driver isn't he!!

This time he's out in the back garden battering the balls all over the place!

Another Saturday morning and another round of golf.  This went on all summer.  Any Saturday mornings that were dry Jude and Ben would be out there playing golf.











Ben is getting quite good at it too.  Jude reckons that by the time Ben's ten years old he might be able to join in with his Dada, Uncles and Cousins in the quarterly golf cup matches.

Ohhh I nearly forgot to mention ........ Ben likes to wear his hurling helmet a lot, even when playing golf.  He loves Hurling too but we'll leave that for another day.  Ohh and he loves Man Utd, as you can tell by his super cool outfit he has on today.
