Marguerite's birthday.

Today it's Marguerite's birthday.  

Ben and Jude are up nice and early to get the scene set.  

Ben spent most of the time trying out these little hooters.

Then Marguerite got up and was headed down to the kitchen.  

So Ben got into place.    

Where was Ben hiding?  Can you guess?

 

SURPRISE!!!!!!!!   

Just as Marguerite came into the room Ben popped up out of this big box!

It was the best birthday surprise ever.

Then Marguerite opened her gifts.  

  

Ben sat the night before and made this necklace for Marguerite.  It was the nicest necklace she ever received .... and it cost nothing!!! 

And a nice new t-shirt for the summer!

Ben read out the lovely message in his Mum's card.  

The most important thing was the sweets ....... Ben wanted them opened even though it was only 7.30am!!

Later that night!

Ben is bringing out Marguerite's birthday cake.

  

Holly likes the smell of it .....

..... and Marguerite likes the look of it!

Marguerite didn't manage to get it all blew out on the first go ....

....... so Ben helped out ....... and even that was not enough .........

...... so Holly stepped in to help!!!  Now that is cool!!

Later that night and Ben is working on his football cards while Marguerite and Jude have a beer.  

Every Friday night Ben gets some football cards and he carefully files them away in their correct spots.  

Marguerite's birthday disco!!!!

This was great fun.  Ben got the scarfs out and everyone had a good laugh.   

The next day the celebrations just kept on coming.  Here is Marguerite's second birthday cake. 

  

It was Coronavirus lockdown of course (two months in at this stage) so unfortunately the big family BBQ they normally host could not happen this year ..... but they made sure they still had a great time ....... just the four of them (Holly too .... wha?).
