Marguerite, Ben, Adam, Jude and Holly took themselves off today to Lurgan

First stop was the park. It is beautiful place to relax or not to relax as proved to be the case today.
Ben and Adam spent about 30 minutes chasing the birds which were chilling out in the park. They got so much fun out of chasing them all over the place.

After that they headed over to the lake ....

...... where they fed the ducks and swans.

This was great fun.

Ben was really excited to see some birds actually catching the bread before it even landed in the water. In mid-air!!

Holly was enjoying this spectacle too!!

After feeding the birds it was time for the humans to get fed.
Ice cream for Ben and Adam, and some tea and buns for Marguerite and Jude.
Ohh and a sip of water for Holly.
Back in the park for another stroll.

And a few nice pics.

After the park they headed out to Galley's Gate. It is a pub on the shore of lough Neagh, about 5 miles from Glenavy.

Marguerite and Jude had their first beer from a pub in over four months.

While the kids entertained themselves at the water's edge.

Looking for treasure!!!!

Holly was getting plenty of running around today!!
She's still trying to figure out water though!
Some folk were having a great time out on their jet skis.

Adam and Ben could have stayed here all day.

'Ok, come on kids, time to go', shouted Marguerite.

And Marguerite thought to herself .....'what a great little day that was'.
