As we made our way to the parade we felt like we were going to a World Cup football match or a Six Nations Game with all the people (of all nationalities) dressed up in green, with painted faces, crazy green hairdos etc, but out of the 20,000 people in attendance at the parade it was only Marguerite jnr who forgot to wear green!
So when we got to a nice spot on a wee hill with a great view, we pushed our way to the front claiming to be stewards and medics and then just proceeded to hog the spot like nobodies business.
Here are some general pics of the parade, we particularly liked the tall GI fella. The weather was beautiful which just complimented a perfect day.

Here's the main man, aye Paddy himself, hey, he must be a good age by now, but as you can see here he still looks well like.

Here is a cool pic of a cop car with 'Emerald Isle Police' written on it, wha? Well it was Paddy's day in Boston so ya just go with the flow.
Check out the girls on unicycles playing tin whistles, I mean isn't that just about the most Irish thing you've ever seen? Sure it even more Irish than Guinness, Shamrock, Dublin, potatoe bread, etc, etc. The pic I took about 4 seconds later can't be put on the blog, let's just say it was rather unfortunate that that girl on the biggest uni-cycle ran over the only pothole in the whole Dorchester Ave. Oooccchh!
