Our mucker Geraldine made the trip across the Atlantic to Boston for a wee holiday. Here she is enjoying a meal with Jude and Marguerite at the Cheesecake factory soon after arriving.
The next day Marguerite and Geraldine went out for a wee dander. Here they pose at the Ted Williams Statue outside Fenway Pahhhhk. Some say Babe Ruth was the greatest Baseball player but Bostonians say the greatest was Williams. Oh, and this was the spot from where Jude stood and watched Paul McCartney play his Fenway concert last week. OK folks it's like this, some opportunities come once in a lifetime and seeing a Beatle (Paul McCartney) was one such moment. Now, Jude had no ticket but he would never let a minor detail like that get in his way so he stood there outside the stadium among hundreds of others and listened to The Long and Winding Road, Eleanor Rigby, Drive my Car, Yesterday, Let it Be, Lady Madonna, Live and Let Die, Something, Get Back, Hey Jude, Helter Skelter and Sgt Pepper among others. Priceless, well free actually!!!!

Anyway, Geraldine and Marguerite's wee dander brought them to the Prudential where Geraldine enjoyed the customary welcome drink at the top of the building.

Marguerite, Jude & Geraldine enjoyed a visit to the Museum of Fine Arts. Below Jude points out a Rembrandt painting to Geraldine.

Shortly afterwards Geraldine went missing for 20 mins or so..........

..........only to be found down a hallway staring at this painting. Wha?

Marguerite and Geraldine were being very childish in trying to get Jude chucked out of the Museum by telling the security guards that he had been taking photos and had touched some paintings. Touts they are, touts I say!!!!!!!!

Marguerite and Geraldine took themselves off Salsa dancing one night. Here they get some fluids on board before the 'action' started.

Geraldine shows this punter how it's done.

This is Geraldine at Fanuiel Hall and just below the statue of Samuel Adams, a Bostonian who among other things was one of the people who signed the Declaration of Independence in 1776.

Street dancers put on a show outside Fanuiel Hall every day. Here Gerladine enjoys the action.

Historical sites in Boston are of great importance like the Old North Church for example. In those two screened windows up there a lantern was lit to warn Bostonians of the movement of British troops in 1775 and so helped them prepare for the battles that were to soon follow.

Here is the monument to the Battle of Bunker Hill when the Americans fought back the might of British army twice before eventually losing the hill on the third attack. It's one of the most important sites in America. Why build a monument to remember a defeat I hear you say? Well it actually acted as a motivator because the Americans suddenly realised they could, with a little more planning, overcome the British Army. And so they did, eventually.
Here Geraldine stands beside the Statue of Colonel William Prescott at the Bunker Hill monument.
Jude and Geraldine met this Ice Cream van guy when at the Bunker Hill monument. Jude had read about how some do-gooders had tried to get his Ice Cream van shifted by claiming it was parked illegally. So Jude struck up a conversation with him about it. It was the local Charlestown community that came together to support the fella by telling the do-gooders to go piss on someone else's party.
Our man flint managed to save his business with the help of those locals who said he was now (after 25 years) an integral part of the community. Fair play to them. Here he is with Geraldine.
When Marguerite and Geraldine took a cruise around Boston Hahbahhh Geraldine got mixed up between day and night. How?
Maybe it was the nice beer they sold on the auld boat there but she stuck her sun glasses on as the evening got darker like. Wha? It's pitch black out there muckers and Geraldine has her sun specs on!
Later and it's getting even darker and but the sun specs are still on folks. Wha?

Geraldine thoroughly enjoyed her trip to Boston. On one occasion she had a panic attack on a train after managing to get herself lost. Aye, lost on the train, like how do you get yourself lost on a train? Wha? It was like something out of the Beverley Hillbillies. Poor Marguerite is still trying to figure out how Geraldine managed it, but manage it she did and thankfully all ended well when she was eventually found in a distressed state by the train man and escorted back to Marguerite like a wee child. That was really funny folks. Here is a nice pic of the two muckers having fun.
