Team pics at Fenway Park!!!!

Recently Jude and his mates went to Fenway Park to see the Red Sox play the New York Yankees.

At today's game are: left to right, back row - Daragh from Derry (in white t-shirt), Tom from Derry, Mark from Clare, Ciaran from Derry, Jude, front row - Aaron from Derry, Stephen from Derry and Darren from Fermanagh.





Here are today's first five arrivals in the queue outside Gate E at Fenway Park, they are of course playing the traditional hand of cards........ and having sneeky swalls at this stage, well it is the weekend and what else would ye be doing on a Friday afternoon?








After the hand of cards Tom (in the orange t-shirt) checks out the merchandise on offer at this stall. But will he splash the cash? Will he...eh.... ..will he actually buy thon hat he's been staring a hole in for the last 15 minutes?









Team pic no 1 - Today the lads agreed to take a series of 'team pics' at various stages of the day, in this one, while waiting in queue at Gate E, Mark decides it's as good a time as any for a wee standing-up kip.

Well did Tom buy thon hat?
Stephen, (on left), says, 'Tom buy the bloody hat.......don't be so tight mate, it's only 10 bucks', but Tom replied, 'Would you like pay 10 dollars for that, it's nice and all but it's 10 dollars of my hard earned cash, from Allied Irish?' 'I work hard for me dough ye know, would you spend $10 of your cash on that?' So Stephen replied, 'Sure what are you taking about, you don't work very hard'. Well you can take the lad out of Derry but you can't take the Derry out of the lad!!



Team pic 2 - Ok, so by now you're thinking, 'here doesn't Jude always go to see the Red Sox play the Yankees?' Well yes he does actually. You see when the Yankees are in Boston for a three game set every couple of months Jude will make sure he see's one of those three games.....well it is the biggest game.....think Liverpool v Man Utd, Real Madrid v Barcelona, St Pauls v Rossa, Ballygalget V Portaferry, etc.

Here everyone is holding up their tickets to the game, Mark has kept his eyes open this time while Daragh (white t-shirt) thinks he's at a rave with his dance pose.

Team Pic no 3 was taken below the Grandstand in Fenway Park. Spot the rucksacks there folks (Jude is holding his), well those things were loaded with wee small bottles of swally just to keep the day's expenditure down.....wha?

Team pic no 4 was taken pitch-side and was taken just as the game was starting.

And finally......team pic no 5 - It was taken half way through the game and was taken by......well actually Jude just asked the photographer doll who walks around taking pics (which punters are then meant to buy!!) to take the pic with his own camera. Brass neck?.......yep!

Oh yeah - the Red Sox eventually lost today by a score of 3-2, but sure what odds, it's only a game, the lads had a great time nonetheless.
