Easter 2017

It's Easter Sunday and Ben is all excited to receive his Easter gifts.
















He just could not wait to get stuck in to see what he got.














A big egg, small small eggs, a book, a Top Trumps game, a new Cork top ........














........ and a new Power Rangers man ........ now that's what I call a cool Easter gift.













Even the big kids get Easter eggs too!
















Ben's favourite part of Easter is the Easter Egg hunt.  This year he had three Easter Egg hunts over the Easter weekend.













He's got off to a slow start ...... but how long would the bucket stay empty?















He's missed that one there ....... it's spot the Easter Egg time ........ can you see it?

 















Patience is key to this kind of lark ...... and before long Ben had found his first egg ......














....... and then he was finding eggs everywhere .... in the hedges .......














......... down the lane ......















....... up the trees ......















........ even in the post box!!!















Ben was all smiles .... all day ...... sure this was the best day since Christmas!!!














Every now and again he would have a wee pit-stop to have some lunch.

Easter is a great time as the days get longer and a little more sunshine starts to peek out.















'Mum ...... I'm going to need a bigger bucket!!!

Check out Jude's cool daffodils.  Well actually they are Marguerite's and Ben's too ..... Jude just planted them.  From around the end of February he watched them like a hawk watching it's prey ...... waiting t see if they would grow,  And they did.  And he didn't shut up about it.  Everyone who visited got introduced to those daffodils.

They are nice daffodils though.  Wha?








Champagne and Easter Eggs ....... sure why not?














The funny thing about Ben and his Easter Egg hunts is that he collects all this stuff and while he gets to eat some of it he does not really notice as Marguerite and Jude are pinching from his bucket left right and centre.












All for Ben's benefit of course ...... sure how could he eat all that.














After eating some chocolate Ben got to run it all off.

Easter is the best!!!!
