Ben loves the film Pirates of the Caribbean and so a Captain Jack Sparrow figure was what he really wanted.
So that's what he got ....... along with Sharkboy and Lavagirl of course ..... he loves that too.
It's hard to believe it but he's 5 already. Where has the time went? To be honest it's been the best 5 years ever.
Back to the present opening ..........
........ a Superman figure to add to the collection.
Ben's favourite gift for this birthday was definitely his Captain Jack Sparrow outfit. Now he could dress up and be the 'worst pirate in the whole world' (as they say in the film).
All the gift opening happened first thing in the morning ....... so here is Ben all set for school. Spot the '5' badge on there!!
After school Ben, Marguerite and Jude went to Lily Johnston's for dinner.
Where Ben had his favourite ...... potatoes, peas, baby sausages and gravy ...... yum!
After dinner it was time to check out if Superman really was super!!
Now that is how to finish off an ice creamon your birthday!!!

Ben new little cousin Rebecca came along to his party.
She's just like a little pumpkin!!!!!
It's nearing bed time and Ben is still opening cards.
A couple of days after Ben's birthday he had party no 2 when more people could come up to the house.
Michael Snr's birthday is the same day as Ben's ........ so here is Ruairi delivering his cake!!!
Michael Jnr and Jude were able to squeeze in a game of darts before .........
